Indeed. But ironically, Trompe marked the point where Black Francis had blocked out Kim for good.
Bad for the Pixies, and ultimately for Frank himself. But good for Kim & for female rockers.
Very true, although I stil think Kim Deal's highpoint is "Gigantic," not any of the Breeders stuff.
True, she did nail some great ones on Surfer Rosa.
And even if it's not as well-produced as Last Splash, Pod has great songs. And the Pixies were still alive at that point.
