Egrets, I've Had a Few...

Friday I was walking around campus taking pictures I needed to take, as my job means I do everything anyone ever associated with marketing has ever done, and this guy/gal was about 10 feet away from me (and a road!) at one point. It's good to live in Santa Barbara.

My only consolation is that we do have peacocks here. Which is pretty cool.

Great post title.

Santa Barbara rocks. Santa Barbara is where people from LA go when they die -- if they've been good. Otherwise they go to Riverside or Temecula.

A great concert patter from maybe 7 years ago. Randy Newman is playing the very cool historic theater the Lobero in Santa Barbara. He plays "I Love LA" and gets the audience involved in a sing-along. When he finishes he says, "If you love LA so much, why do you live here?...I think I know."

A great concert patter from 2 years ago. T Bone Burnett plays. He says, "I've always thought that Santa Barbara sounded like a good idea."

Nice photo. I especially like the greenery.

Did you have to think for a few seconds about whether you were going to alternatively title this post "Je Egret Rien"?
