Feinstein Monster and the Abby-Normal Voting Record

This weekend, after announcing she would vote to support Mike Mukasey for Attorney General no matter his stance on torture,

after supporting the 2002 Iraq resolution that gave President Bush the "authority" to start an endless, unwinnable war,

after voting for the May 2007 Emergency Supplemental Appropriations bill which continued to fund the Iraq occupation without firm timetables for withdrawal,

after joining Republicans in the Senate in August 2007 in voting to modify the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by narrowing the scope of its protections to sharply alter the legal limits on the government's ability to monitor phone calls and email messages of American citizens,

after being the the original Democratic cosponsor of a bill to extend the Patriot Act,

after working as the main Democratic sponsor of the failed 2006 constitutional amendment against flag-burning,

after she voted to confirm Judge Leslie H. Southwick to the US Circuit Court, despite his having an 89 percent record of voting against workers, consumers, and other victims in divided decisions,

after she voted to condemn MoveOn for the General Betray-Us ad...

has just announced she is forming the California for Feinstein Party.

Rumor has it she can't wait for the next State of the Union speech, just so she can get a big smooch from W. After all, she's been planting big one's all over his butt for years now.

She's part of the problem as to why the Dems look weak.

I wonder what Harvey Milk would think of her now.

Smitty, alas there isn't enough being done to dump Feinstein. And I even left out of the part where she voted for appropriations that went to her husband's company--to fight the wonderful war.

Her former Chief of Staff Mark Kadesh went on to become the Executive Director of MusicFIRST - and branch of the RIAA that is currently lobbying to drastically increase royalty rates for terrestrial radio stations.

The RIAA is that wonderfully righteous organizations that sues grandmothers (the the tune of tens of thousands of dollars) who are only suspected of pirating music online.

After Kadesh left Feinstein's office, he lobbied for SoundExchange - which very well could be responsible for the gutting of independent internet and web-based radio (Pandora, Last.FM, SomaFM) if their initial proposal goes through. The stations that can afford the outrageous rate increase (or who reach private deals with SoundExchange - which includes playing a certain amount of RIAA represented artists) will be all that's left.

Yeah, she really needs to go.

She's terrible, she's been terrible the whole time she's been in the Senate, she was terrible as the mayor of San Francisco.

Over at itlookslikethis, proprietor mrgumby2u once hung the appellation "Senator Useless" on her. I can't think of a better description for this DINOsaur.

Yeah, she really needs to go.

That, or she needs to admit that she's a Republican. Then get voted-out.

She is a disgrace to the Democratic Party and the Constitution. The party should abandon her the way she has abandoned us and the US.

Seems like she is a lot smarter than the rest of the Dems. I'd vote for her.\
