Caught Up in a Dangling Sting Off the Shore
The video ain't much, but the song sure is. Somehow 3 years old now, but no less beautiful.

“We discovered that it was OK to have a little high-brow as long you have a lot of low-brow. That’s entertainment value. The one thing you want to avoid is the middle brow, because the whole world is frigging middle brow at the moment.” – Jon Langford

Great stuff--Rickey digs Eric Bachmann. His solo acoustic albums are sweet, simple, moving stuff.
It ain't Icky Mettle.
Can't say too much about Archers of Loaf-Crooked Fingers-Barry Black-Eric Bachmann.
That said, if you think that isn't Icky Mettle, check out this.
btw, funny thing is that Rickey didn't have a lot of Crooked Fingers albums (or any for that matter) until last night. Goddamn "You Threw a Spark" and "Valerie" are fist pumpingly great song. Thanks for expanding Rickey's musical horizons!
No problem! Don't forget the greatest Sad Bastard song of all time, "New Drink for the Old Drunk."
